Senior Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our team and make an immediate impact with their knowledge and experience.

About the Position

Setting: Days in office and construction site visits
Type: Permanent
Compensation: Commensurate with experience, semi-annual bonus, comprehensive health benefits, and 401(k).

Responsibilities:

Conduct site visits including inspection and evaluation of building envelope components, structural systems, potential building repairs, roof structure, existing façade, etc.
Production of project manuals with technical specifications, bid form, and drawings
Manage planning and design of civil engineering projects
Draft and negotiate AIA Documents and Proposals
Prepare cost estimates and project budgets
Coordinate and approve subcontractor billing
Document processes and present updates to senior managers and clients
Mentoring/training/managing junior engineers in project management and oversight

Requirements:

Bachelors in Civil Engineering (BSCE) with a structural or construction management focus required
8 – 10 years of related experience
P.E. license and/or LEED certification, preferred
Experience in building envelope and structural repair consulting
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
