In 2013 and 2014, the parking garage at Bethesda Crossing underwent a comprehensive rehabilitation project that included demolition and reconstruction of the elevated deck. The work, designed and bid by our office, involved installation of structural steel framing and decking, concrete demolition and replacement, routing and sealing of cracked concrete in the slab-on-grade, demolition and reinstallation of CMU walls on the lower levels, installation of new metal stairs and railings, application of a traffic coating throughout, and painting new traffic markings, line stripes, column markings, railings, stairs and doors. The project was completed in 2014.
