670 Old Mill Rd – Finmarc – Structural Repairs & Façade Rehabilitation Project

670 Old Mill Road, Millersville, MD

The structural steel framing of the exterior walkway at 670 Old Mill Road was in extremely poor condition at the beginning of 2015. Our office designed and bid a comprehensive structural repair and façade rehabilitation project in the Spring of that year. The scope of work included installation of shoring; removal and disposal of existing steel stud framing, fascia boards, drop-ceiling tiles and replacement with new materials; removal and replacement of existing deteriorated steel beams and steel pipe columns and baseplates; structural strengthening of steel beam and columns; full depth concrete removal and replacement; and removal and replacement of sealants and masonry. The project commenced in the summer of 2015 and concluded in the spring of 2016.
